UFO sightings and predictions have been reported for decades, with some accounts dating back thousands of years. However, these reports have often lacked solid evidence to support them. In many cases, they were riddled with inconsistencies and exaggerations, leading to widespread skepticism. As a result, most of these claims were dismissed by the general public and largely ignored by mainstream science.
Many of these accounts occurred in modern times, yet the lack of hard evidence and the limited number of eyewitnesses made them difficult to believe—until now. One of the most crucial aspects of our age is the ability to document and share information instantly, and this is exactly what Chris Bledsoe, a prominent UFO investigator, did when composing a book filled with predictions and insights into the possible purpose behind these UFO visitations, based on past sightings and occurrences.
The UFO of God, written by the prominent UFO ontologist Chris Bledsoe, is an almost philosophical recounting of his alleged 2007 encounter with a UFO near the Cape Fear River. Bledsoe interprets this experience as profoundly spiritual in nature, drawing from it a series of revelations and predictions. According to him, 2026 will mark a year of transformation—preceded by a steady increase in UFO sightings and other unexplained phenomena in the years leading up to it.
1st June 20215 – The prediction and the occurance

Bledsoe was central to the UFO event when, at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, California, during the major UAP event- Contact in the Desert 2025 conference at 8:45 p.m., he predicted that within an hour, there would be a UFO appearance, descending from the sky exactly 60 minutes after his prediction. While Chris’s claim was initially met with skepticism, participants of the event were astonished when, at 9:45, an unidentified orange orb appeared above the desert sky and descended close to the ground, after which it quickly disappeared into the heights.
The event was witnessed by nearly 1,000 attendees, many of whom were able to capture footage of the mysterious occurrence. Some believe it was a plane; however, that explanation raises even more questions, given the nature of the orb and its ability to fly vertically. Adding to the controversy, the conference, quickly dubbed “The Woodstock of UFOlogy” by Forbes, featured speakers like Josh Gates and Ross Coulthart, adding to its prominence (Contact in the Desert).
Bledsoe’s prediction was based on his personal UFO encounters, with broader context from a 2008 NASA scientist’s disclosure plan for 2025, though not specific to June 1.
Recent developments have begun to shift the narrative even further with government agencies declassifying documents, military personnel coming forward, and advanced technology capturing inexplicable phenomena, the conversation around UFOs is no longer confined to conspiracy theories. What was once dismissed is now being re-examined with serious attention. Was Chris Bledsoe’s prediction accurate, marking the first well-documented UAP phenomenon? Or was his prediction simply based on undisclosed information he received in 2008? The truth may lie somewhere in between.
